Dear participants and colleagues,

Once again and in a very special way, we have to thank you for your participation that has allowed us to hang the “SOLD OUT” sign in at least one of the two trackdays of the Lotus and Light Cars Spring Weekend. The participation of 20 members of Club Lotus France and a few more of our colleagues from the other side of the Pyrenees are a very important part of the success of this event.

Those of you who already know Castellolí know what you’re going to enjoy, those of you who don’t know it yet, get ready because you’re going to have a great time.

Morning session driving in 2 groups of 25 cars, afternoon with 4 hours of open pit, everything ready for a great day on the track in the best possible company, all you.

As you are also a magnificent selection of passionates of this thing of us acting like a hamster and with the collaboration of all, we will have the time of our lives… well, speaking of Trackrat, rather like always?

The sound limit for cars is 95dB at 3,000rpm and the circuit is carrying out sonometric controls before entering the track!

TRACK ARRIVAL

On Saturday the 30th, those who need it will be able to access the circuit facilities from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to leave trailers in the paddock and cars in the pits. If you are going to arrive later than 8:00 p.m, please let us know so that we can coordinate your arrival with the circuit’s security personnel.

Already on Sunday 01, we will open the gates of the circuit at 07:30, the event will be held behind closed doors and to access the circuit site, you and your companions must be included in the list at the entrance.

You must have received an email with instructions and a link to identify your guests, mechanics and second drivers and co-drivers, please make sure that this has been the case and follow these instructions so that everything works correctly and there are no access problems.

Also in that link you have your last chance to contract the Photo Pack at an exceptional price,€20 for all your track photos, whose price, as well as the co-driver/second driver insurance from Friday at 12:00 pass from 20€ to 30€.

Attention VERY IMPORTANT, anyone who wants to access the track in a vehicle must have been accredited at the organization table where the compulsory insurance will be made, they will be given the bracelet that certifies it and must wear a helmet.

Make sure once you are going to enter the track that the driver and co-driver are wearingthe bracelet, otherwise the marshals will not let the vehicle access the track with the disturbance that this can represent for you and other participants.

REMEMBER THAT THE HELMET IS MANDATORY FOR ALL OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE, A MOTORCYCLE ONE IS ALLOWED! (If you want to rent one, reserve it now)

From 07:30 when we open until 09:00 when the briefingwill take place for drivers in the hall enabled for it on the roof of the pits building, you have time to arrive, locate yourself in the PADDOCK area or the BOX that has been assigned to you and go to BOX 3 where the organization desk is, (it will be easy for you to recognize it by the banners and because it is the last one on the right), to accredit yourself and your co-drivers, mechanics and companions and receive all the documentation, bracelets, vehicle identification stickers, etc.

In the organization box you will have available helmets for rent, license plate covers, pressure gauges and other items from the TRACKRAT STORE, such as our Trackrat Petrolwear line t-shirts. And in the adjoining box you will have a compressor and mechanical assistance. Assistance, not miracles!

Both for track time and number of participants, our events set a high standard of quality and a track day with Trackrat is one in which meeting the objectives with which you go to the track is practically guaranteed.

TRACK OPENING

At 9:30, as a novelty, we will start with those very special photos of the Photo-Rollingsession, which will last 15 minutes and in which those who have chosen that option with the registration or in the link that we have mentioned above will participate. . novelty

It only takes a little look on our social networks to realize that it is very worthwhile.

At 9:45 we continue with 15 minutes of SHAKEDOWN, which will allow those who do not know the track to drive in “yellow flags” and discover the track with ease.

And already at 10:00 the big moment arrives and the action begins on the track in a format of 30-minute sessions in 2 groups organized by times/performance. Sport Group the most moderate pace and Strike Group, the fastest. So throughout the morning, 3 batches for Sport and 3 for Strike.

At 1:00 p.m. our friends from the Abarths, who will accompany us in their own group, will do their first 30-minute session and we will take the opportunity to prepare the Fast series with more calm than usual.

To end the morning session and providing that those who love to achieve good lap times have the opportunity to drive to the limit, starting at 1:30 p.m. our well-known Fast Series, which will be two of 15 minutes or one of 20 minutes, depending on the number of drivers interested to participate in them.

Once finished, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. the Abarths return to the track for their second and last session.

At 14:30, we’ll be back with another session in OPEN PIT format of almost 4 HOURS! That will arrive until 6:15 p.m. when the event will end and to pick up to return home very tired and with a big smile.

BOXES

As usual in our events, participants in the Full day session have a place in the box included with the registration until availability is exhausted.

Due to the limited number of boxes at Parcmotor Castellolí, some of the participants who registered later and do not have a TrackratMaster membership, do not have a place in the box. In the same way, and always attending to the need to use the box, which is not the same in all cases, we will try to accommodate everyone in the best possible way and always counting on the good will of all.

If you do not have a box or you do not need the one assigned to you, but you have materials in the car that can bother you while you are on the track, you can leave them safely in the organization’s box or in the one assigned to you as fifth occupant.

GROUPS

The track groups are organized to improve the experience of the participants as much as possible, trying to ensure that the rhythm is even in each one.

As in Trackrat we always go with a lot of margin over the total occupation authorized by the circuit, which in this case would be 30 cars, if for whatever reason you do not think you are located in the group that corresponds to you, let us know and without any problem we will We will change the one that best suits you.

OTHER INFORMATION OF INTEREST

The closest gas station to the circuit is the Area del Bruc (Repsol), on the A2 about 7 kilometers coming from Martorell.

To eat you will have a restaurant service in the outdoor car park of the circuit, from 08:30 to 16:00, coffee, sandwiches, pizzas and menu.
